Chennai, June 11, 2025 – A transformative chapter in Chennai’s educational sphere unfolds with the grand opening of Ampa Sishya School, an institution that will be established through a prestigious collaboration between the Ampa Vidhya Educational Trust (led by Founder & Trustee Mr. Ampa Palaniappan) and the Kit Thomas Educational Society, which will bring its renowned legacy from Sishya School, Adyar.

The school, strategically located in the bustling Anna Nagar–Kilpauk area, will welcome students from Pre-KG (PS1) to Grade 12, with its first academic year set to begin on June 12, 2025.

The Ampa Group will contribute its strong foundation in real estate and institutional development, while Sishya Adyar will provide its decades of academic excellence and a progressive approach to teaching. Together, the two organizations will establish a school that will deliver future-focused, inclusive education aligned with the ICSE curriculum and the National Education Policy.
