Chennai, 11th November 2021: With India pushing towards the target of 100% Electric Vehicle Nation by 2030, Boom Motors, the new high-tech Indian EV brand from the state of Tamil Nadu, is born to accelerate the country’s transition to clean mobility through indigenous high-performance electric vehicles that suits the Indian conditions.

The company today unveiled the Boom Corbett – India’s most durable and long-lasting bike. The bike features a 2.3 kWh– which can optionally be doubled to 4.6 kWh – giving the vehicle a best-in-class range of up to 200 kms. The batteries are swappable and they come with a portable charger that can plug into any household socket thereby removing the requirement for charging infrastructure. The vehicle can hit a top-speed of 75 kmph with the two-battery option, can support 200 kgs loading, and can climb the steepest gradients in our cities.

Speaking about Boom Motors’ launch Anirudh said, “In order to fuel the transition to EVs, Boom Motors believes that vehicles should offer value, convenience and peace-of-mind to the customer – only then they will swich en masse. To demonstrate our best-in-class value, Boom Motors is the first EV company to offer customers to purchase our vehicles for 5-year EMI. Rates will start at Rs. 1,699 per month – which is less than what many people spend on petrol. For convenience, we are offering swappable battery with a portable charger that will allow the bike to be charged anywhere. Speaking about Boom Motor’s journey so far he added, “Climate change is globally a very important issue and I believe we have no time to waste. • An Aakash student since Class IX, Prasenjithan credits the institute for making him more disciplined and focused

Chennai, November 02, 2021:For Prasenjithan, a student of Aakash Institute, cracking the NEET exam, and getting a top rank were not the main goal. They were just the positive side effects of learning something well. This Chennai boy who scored 710 marks and obtained AIR 43 in the NEET UG 2001 says that it was his fascination for human physiology that kept driving him to prepare well for the exam. 

Prasenjithan took part in the Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE), a national-level scholarship exam for Class VII to XII students. He was a Class IX student, then. He was pleasantly surprised at the freshness of the ANTHE questions - “that was for the first time, I saw a question paper testing my knowledge in the topics that were out of my school syllabus.” 

Prasenjithan joined Aakash for NEET coaching. But he still had a dilemma of whether to choose engineering or medicine. “My parents are engineers. I am strong in mathematics. At the same time, I am fascinated by human physiology. Till I was in Class X, I could not make a decision,” he recollects. Nevertheless, he chose medicine over-engineering as he felt that a healthcare profession could give him much more satisfaction and happiness than a career in engineering would. His engineering parents did not influence their son’s decision. They were only interested in making sure that Prasenjithan cared to understand his subjects and he did not give up easily. 

Commenting about Prasenjithan’s achievement, Mr. Aakash Chaudhry, Managing Director, Aakash Educational Services Limited, said, “It is always a pleasure for us to work with students like Prasenjithan who are really interested in understanding the subjects. This boy is never okay with rote learning. He always insists that he needs a reason to remember or even to read something new.
