Jeppiaar Engineering College and Jeppiaar SRR Engineering College held its 17th Convocation on 3rd September 2022 with the blessings of Founder Chancellor Hon. Colonel Dr. JEPPIAAR. To encourage research, Incubation Grant of Rs.1 Crore was announced under “Jeppiaar Research and Development Organisation” (JRDO) in Jeppiaar Educational Trust for students, faculty, start-ups, small scale industries (SSI)etc.
A total of 1159 graduates, 75 Postgraduates received their degrees. Among them, 14 students were awarded with University Ranks and 4 students were given Trust Awards for their exemplary performance in academics.

We are delighted to mention that 190 companies have visited us during the academic year batch 2017-2021 and 76% of our students have secured Job offers with an average CTC of 3.6 LPA and the maximum CTC of 7 Lakhs LPA. The eminent recruiters list includes Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, NTT Data, Motherson, Renault Nissan, Zifo R&D, Revature, HCL, Mindtree, Hexaware etc.
Addressing the graduation ceremony, Tamilachi Thangapandian called the students as female lions and male peacocks. The students cheered her on with their applause as she explained that female lions hunt and male peacocks have a beautiful plumage.She said that she was born to teacher's parents, if she goes to her hometown, people will not call her a member of parliament, but will call her a teacher's daughter. sHe said it would make her very happy. she elaborated on the importance of teachers, parents and students working as a triangle and Tamilachi Thangapandian said the bond between these three with various examples. she also emphasized that the students should return the help they can to the schools that have given them education.
